It all began in Richmond in 2016, at a Toasters show, where fate brought Tim and Missy together. What started as a chance meeting quickly turned into something unforgettable. By August, they were on their first date, and from that moment on, they were inseparable—no matter the miles between them. For four years, love lived in the spaces between Roanoke and Maryland. Tim took the train south, Missy drove north, and every weekend became a reunion filled with laughter, long conversations, and the growing certainty that this was something rare and real. In December 2019, Tim moved to Roanoke, and just a few months later, the world paused. As everything slowed down, their love only deepened. They spent their days working, learning, and living side by side, creating a rhythm all their own. By the end of 2020, they found the perfect house to call home—and together, they filled it with color, joy, and so much love. Nine years after that first spark, Tim asked Missy to marry him on an unforgettable trip to Alaska—and of course, she said yes. On April 4, 2026, they’ll say “I do” at the historic Roanoke train station. It’s the perfect place to begin their forever, surrounded by the very symbol that helped them stay connected through all those early years: the train.
