The State Park opens the gates at 6am and typically will fill up rather quickly with a line waiting to get in.

Few things to keep in mind. They reroute traffic and will not allow you to cross Hwy 17 to enter. If you need help with this please get in touch with one of us.

So, if you are local or not staying in the park please arrive early. I would suggest by 7am. Once the state park is full they will not allow anyone else to enter.

If you plan to stay for the beach day I would suggest following the yellow and parking close to the campground.

If you are just coming for a few hours but not going to the beach I'd suggest following the pink and park close to the shelters.
