It was a tale as old as time; in a dark, grimy, poor lit college dive bar where the drinks were cheap and patrons were rowdy.

Young, charming, determined underclassman Mitch would finally get the courage to shoot his shot with upper classman, now alumnus Paige. Who was,

at the time, about as approachable as a stray pit bull.

With the swift, smooth delivery asking Paige if he could buy her a drink. Mitch was soon met with a look up and down of distain and an immediate “Nah, I’m good” - which would result in a 6 year vengeance of love.

As they would both embark on their own life journeys, with Mitch heading out West slinging beers and Paige staying in Kansas City impacting lives in a slightly different manner on her social work path.

But, the stars would soon realign for the two after both moving back home to St. Louis to get back to family & friends.

As any modern fairy tale love story, they would be brought back through the connection of social media. It was now time for Mitch to reclaim his pride and get the girl. He saw his opportunity when he noticed Paige's posts at a friend’s bachelorette party and, to his delight, he recognized those same ole rhythm less, yet intoxicating dance moves.

It didn’t take long. After much consideration and treading lightly Mitch would work up the courage to ask her on a first date. They mutually agreed a blues game would be the right fit.

The connection was immediate, catching up with old stories, and enjoying several busch lattes on their post-game Soulard bar crawl. Fast forward almost 4 years, happy SOCO living, and about to throw the biggest party in October 2024!
