As most of you know, Mitch and I are foodies at heart, so most of these recommendations are going to be our favorite restaurants, sprinkled with things we love to do in sunny San Diego!
There's a great walking path along the beach, and its usually not crowded!
Located right down the street from our house, Stone Brewing is an awesome place to grab a beer, enjoy some food, and hangout with family! Their Ahi tuna nachos are amazing!
One of our favorite spots! All the food is amazing (try the birria eggrolls forsure), they always have live music and its a casual fun spot!
Callie is one of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants in San Diego, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! The Aleppo Chicken and the Harissa Grilled Lamb Chops are to die for!
Seaworld is amazing, always a good time, and local to san diego :)
I mean... can you come to California and not try In-N-Out ? Double Double Animal Style pleaseeeee
Wanna see a San Diego Padres game right in the center of downtown? The Padres stadium is awesome, with tons of great food and drink options and the games are always super fun !
Kingfisher is an amazing asian-fusion restaurant tucked into a small neighborhood in san diego. The diver scallops, viet lemongrass clams, and glazed skirt steak were some of our favorites! We've been dying to try the roasted duck, but get there early because this sells out quick! The deconstructed ginger cheesecake will literally make you fall in love!
We've tried lots of burgers in the area and this is by far our favorite! It's a causal spot tucked away in North County San Diego with a dog friendly patio and some killer burgers and fries! (try to tarragon aioli on your fries, trust me)
The zoo is always a hit, but the San Diego zoo here has a safari park! You can ride in a buggy and see all the animals up close, worth the experience forsure!
So far the best steak house we've been to! Cowboy star is fantastic, and the cocktails are awesome too!
Craving a chicken sandwich? Crack Shack is the best! It has a causal outdoor picknick style atmosphere and the best chicken you've ever tasted !
We love wine, one of our favorite local wineries is Orfila, very family and dog friendly and incredible views of the mountains!
We love strolling through Old Town, tons of stuff to do and see! Our favorite is Tahona for more traditional mexican, or Coyote Cafe for your standard Tex-mex and a giant guava margarita !
Super cute to walk around, lots of shops and restaurants, and if you walk to the end there's a chill grassy spot to watch the kite flyers and grab a coffee/bagel at Spill The Beans!
Cant go wrong in little Italy, walk down India Street and be full immersed in Italy! We love Nonna's, Salt and Straw, or Ironside fish & oyster! There's also an awesome Farmers Market on Saturdays!
