Mitchell and Lauryn first met down at Ball State in 2019. It wasn't until a few years later when they met again here in Fort Wayne over Christmas break 2021.

They began talking on New Years Eve 2021 and went on their first date down in Muncie on January 22, 2022. They hit it off immediately and began officially dating on January 26, 2022.

On February 4th, 2022, the two made the drive home to Fort Wayne to meet each other's parents. On this same day Lauryn's father passed unexpectedly. Mitchell has never left Lauryn's side since that day.

Since they started dating, Lauryn and Mitchell have enjoyed spending every life moment together. From family time to holidays to major life milestones, the two have enjoyed every second of being a part of each other's lives. Since starting to date they have both graduated from college and started their careers.

On August 26th, 2023, Mitchell proposed to Lauryn on Coldwater Lake - one of their favorite places. It was the most perfect day! The two are so incredibly excited for their wedding day on September 14th, 2024, but more importantly, they are excited to begin their life together forever!
