Some cabins are equipped with stoves and small kitchens, while others are not. When booking, be sure to ask Milford House what your cabin includes so you can plan meals accordingly.

Garden party attire! Think sundresses, dress shirts, and comfortable shoes for walking on grass. It’s a relaxed outdoor celebration, so no need for anything too fancy. In true cottage style, flannel is totally encouraged for the evening—cozy up by the fire in style!

We’ve chosen not to create a traditional registry, since our cozy home (shared with two spoiled pups) is already full of everything we need. If you’d like to contribute to our honeymoon fund instead, we’d be so grateful—it’s the adventure we’re most looking forward to!

Yes! Cabins at Milford House are pet-friendly. Just let them know when booking if you plan to bring your furry friend—there is a small additional fee. As proud dog parents to Ellie and Tucker, we totally get it and would love for you to bring your furry babies too! Well-behaved dogs are more than welcome to attend our ceremony. We LOVE our dogs, and yours are welcome to join the celebration.

Wi-Fi and cell service are limited—it’s all part of the charm! However, Wi-Fi is available at the main lodge, and that’s also where cell reception tends to be strongest. Get ready to unplug and soak in the beauty of the great outdoors.

Bring comfortable clothes, layers for chilly evenings, toiletries, snacks, and anything else you’ll need for a cozy cabin stay. Bug spray and a flashlight are always a good idea!

Absolutely! Milford House guests can swim, canoe, kayak, or just relax by the water. Some equipment is available to rent, or feel free to bring your own!
