I was a teenager praying for something like my parents had. They fell in love in High school. They had two daughters and two sons. Hayden and I would like to have a family as well. My parents got married on their senior prom night and went to prom in their wedding attire. Prom night was also special for us. My junior prom was approaching and I didn’t have a date. My sister’s boyfriend, Kadin, said he had the perfect boy. I met Hayden on April 30, 2022, prom night. I saw him, his gestures, heard his kind words, and from that one moment I knew he was everything I prayed for. I will continue to pray, not only for him, but for us as a whole. On August 16, 2025 we become one.

I was really nervous because I didn’t know what to expect from a blind date. When I arrived to take pictures, she was hiding. When she finally came outside and I saw her, I noticed how beautiful she was and that she was nervous too. We didn’t talk much during pictures because we were afraid to ruin our chances with one another. On the drive to prom I asked her what her favorite color was, to try and break the ice. At the prom, I tried to impress her with my awesome dance moves. After that night I knew she was special. I asked her to be my girlfriend on May 12th of 2022, and haven’t looked back since. We got engaged in what is now our home on May 22nd 2024, a little over 2 years after we began dating.
