Our Wedding

Mo and Garrett met while attending Shawnee State University while being a part of the softball and baseball teams. While having many mutual friends, we both remember having one night that we just clicked. We began dating April 18th, 2021 while Garrett was finishing school at Shawnee, Mo began her master's program at Marshall University. We both graduated May of 2023 and moved back home. As Garrett was from Ashland and Mo was from Fairview Park, we began living an hour away and visiting one another every weekend and day off. We spent as much time as we could together while working and saving money for our future. We were lucky to buy a home together in July of 2024 and began a long process of renovations! We spent many hours working on our home together (and still do!) Early on in our renovations, Garrett found a 10 day old kitten that we brought home and named Berkey after our street. February of 2025, we added our Australian shepherd Oakley into our home. In April of 2025 we went on a long weekend trip to Fort Myers Florida. Our first night we were on a walk on the beach at sunset and Garrett proposed! It was the most perfect proposal that Garrett had planned for awhile. Now we are so excited to celebrate our special day with our friends and family!

Best Western Plus Wooster Hotel & Conference Center

We are working on changing the blocked rooms to our new date! We have 10 rooms blocked at this hotel but it’s very small! There are only 16 rooms in the hotel. St Paul and Best Western are a 5 minute walk/ 2 minute drive from each other. We will be getting a shuttle to take guests from the two hotels to the venue and back!
