The pathway to the venue and down to the ceremony site is gravel, so please dress accordingly or be careful. They do have ATV’s to help those who have a hard time walking on uneven surfaces.

We have a room block at Honey Creek Resort. You will need to call them to get the discount. Tell them you are a part of the Barclay/Faris wedding. Please refer to the “Travel” section for more details on this.

Unfortunately, it is not until 4:00pm. Guests will need to call ahead of time to see if their room is available for early check in. Honey Creek said that they will do their best to have all of our rooms ready by 1:00pm.

Yes! We have the Centerville Trolley available for shuttling guests to and from the wedding/reception. Please see the travel section for more information.

The address listed on the invitation is the owners log cabin right next door to the venue called the Heritage 1865. If you are traveling from the Des Moines area, the Heritage 1865 address will take you on a much better route. Otherwise if you type in Emerald Hills Events you will most likely end up on a rock road.

The venue is out in the country and these towns are right next to each other. You are going to the right place.
