We have chosen to have a private ceremony on a different date prior to the reception. This is a decision that has come with much thought, and we’ve decided that a small, intimate ceremony with just a few of our closest family and chosen family is what feels right for us. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all at the Zoo, and we hope you are equally excited to join us for a fun and celebratory evening!

Feel free to interpret "semi-formal" as liberally as you wish. We would love for our guests to get dressed up in something that feels just as fancy as it does fun and comfortable. We encourage you to wear something you already own or borrow from a friend rather than purchasing a new outfit just for one event.

Unfortunately, the Zoo will be closed during our wedding reception. Our event will be confined to the footprint of the building, but you are welcome to visit the Zoo during normal business hours to see all the animals!

Due to our venue's space limitations and our desire to celebrate our day with our most special people, we cannot afford for all of our wonderful guests to bring a guest of their own. Please do not bring a plus one unless they are named on your invitation. If you believe there has been a mistake, please reach out and we are happy to look!

If you drive in, please park in the OTTER lot and enter via the WEST GATE. From the West Gate, head south past the penguins (away from the Zoo store) to the 1899 Grove. The address for the West Entrance is 5500 Phinney Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103. From I-5, take the exit for 45th street and 50th street. Head west on 50th and continue as the road turns right and becomes Phinney Ave North. Turn right at 55th Street into the Penguin Parking Lot. Pull through the Penguin lot to the Otter lot to park and enter through the West Entrance.
