Our Wedding

We met hanging out at a friend's house over seven years ago during our last year at UC, and we hit it off right from the start.&nbsp;We became fast friends, and though we didn't admit it to each other for several months, we both had quite a crush.&nbsp; For months, Molly and her dog Murphy would run into Alex on their daily walks. Murphy was a handful back then, always excited to see Alex, but Alex didn’t seem to mind. We didn't show it quite the same way as Murphy, but we were both just as happy as him for the excuse to stop and talk to&nbsp;each other.&nbsp; We lived a few blocks from each other, but the real coincidence was when we discovered that Molly's brother, Davey, was Alex's next-door neighbor. In true Davey fashion, he thought he was being served when Alex introduced himself and already knew Davey's name, but once they cleared up the misunderstanding they became friends over a beer at the pub down the street. Yet another happy chance that brought us together.&nbsp; The catalyst that gave us the push we needed to evolve our friendship into a relationship is a funny one. We were hanging out with friends like we had before. Things took a turn when Molly found out the hard way that medical talk sends Alex straight to the floor. Funny enough, Alex's fainting spell was really what broke the tension and was a convenient segue into us finally dating.&nbsp; It was a natural progression from there. Our same senses of humor, mutual worldview, and shared love for nature, family, our pets, and most of all each other has enriched both of our lives and given us a partner in one another.&nbsp;Over 7 years, we’ve shared many happy milestones, like adding to our menagerie of pets by adopting our second dog, Dot, and buying our first home together.&nbsp;We've also leaned on each other during life's challenges, grateful to have each other to share the load.&nbsp; Now, we're preparing to get married at the Cincinnati Nature Center, a place that has been special to us throughout the years. We're excited to celebrate with our friends and family not only the past seven years of our relationship, but the future we continue to build together.&nbsp;
