Our story began at Ale Mary's one winter two years ago. After weeks of texting we decided to see if our chemistry translated into real life. We bonded over the obvious - ADHD, baseball (sadly we'll NEVER see eye to eye on that), how badly single parenting stunk, and just how nice it was to talk to someone who actually GETS it.

We realized on that first date when we closed not one but two bars because we couldn't get enough of talking to each other, we stumbled onto something that could only be described as fate.

There was that one date a few months later when a hungover Matt blurted out "I love you" while Molly cleaned cat vomit off the carpet. We realized then, though maybe we had always known, this love we have was inevitable.

Since day one, we've been pretty much inseparable. We became a modern day Brady Bunch. The story of a man named Clemente and his two children merging with a woman named Boswell and her two children. Jack and Mary became brother and sister to Adeline and Teddy seamlessly. The girls became best friends from the start and Teddy's adoration of his big brother Jack was apparent to anyone who knows them (and vice versa). Our added bonus was our fifth little guy, Miles, who added SO much love to this already chaotic house.

We'd be remiss if we didn't pay homage to our former spouses, John and Shaina. They made us better partners, better parents, and better people.

We thank Shaina and John for all the joy they brought to our lives and for allowing us to continue to love the children they left behind. It is through loving and being loved by them that we are certain we will be the best partners to each other for the rest of our days.
