Molly and Joseph met the first day of orientation in 2017 at Rollins College while beginning their MBA program. They would spend the next year taking classes and doing projects together as study buddies which soon developed into much more. Molly knew Joseph had a crush on her when he came over to study with a bottle of wine and dinner. They bonded over music, travelling, raw oysters, and their southern roots.


Upon graduation Joseph moved to Portland, Oregon. Molly stayed in Florida but travelled often to visit him and then she moved to Denver for work. Joseph quickly followed and then came Covid, where Molly and Joseph’s relationship would be tested when they took shelter in Panama City at his parents’ house. While in Panama City, Molly and Joseph discovered that they could not be without one another. Molly then moved to New Orleans to earn her master’s in data science from Tulane and Joseph would soon follow.


On Halloween of 2023, he in a pirate costume and she in a fairy outfit, Joseph asked Molly to spend the rest of their lives together.
