We met on good ol' fashioned OK Cupid.

It was just another run of the mill online date. And then one date turned into two, then I met his friends and got along with them and he got along with mine.

It was just as the Covid restrictions were being lifted as the first round of vaccines were being rolled out. We spent an amazing summer together and then, as good things often have to do, that came to an end when Covid started evolving and we went in for another lockdown.

While it felt like our lives were being put on pause, Nick and I found each other to be just the entertainment we needed. Getting to know one another's lives like an exciting action story that's still being written.

Shortly after having met Nick on this app I learned it was "the app for weirdos". Which, if you know Nick or I, fits us well.

We love our weird little house, with our weird little pets, and our weird lives that are still being written together.
