Adrian and Molly's story begins in high school. The two originally knew each other from wrestling - Adrian wrestled for Urbandale and Molly was a manager from Van Meter. Adrian tried to ask Molly out in 2011 but his offer was politely declined... okay, ignored. In June 2015 Molly was just finishing up her freshman year at the University of Iowa, and Adrian was working at Costco. Molly moved home for the summer and was excited to find that Adrian wanted to reconnect. Their first date was over Adrian's lunch hour in the Costco parking lot, with Molly's best friend, Emily, in-tow. That first summer was filled with countless adventures and by the time Molly returned to the U of I in the fall, the two were officially an item. The last (almost) 5 years have been abundantly filled with travel, movies, Hawkeye sporting events, HuHot dates and most of all - laughter.

Adrian proposed June 24, 2018 on a sunset catamaran cruise in Honolulu, Hawaii where Molly was doing a summer internship.

Due to COVID-19 the couple decided to have a small wedding celebration at Molly's childhood home. They are very excited to renew their vows and celebrate with all of their friends and family this summer!

They currently reside in Waukee where Molly teaches 3rd grade. Adrian is the groundskeeper for a property in West Des Moines.
