It was the first day of college and Molly and her freshman roommate were on their way to a required new student ceremony at the convocation center at UNG. Molly and her roommate were lost on how to get there. On their way there, her roommate noticed a guy who ''looked like he knew where he was going'' and struck up a conversation with him. This guys name was Steven. Little did they know, his best friend would end up being Thomas.

After the ceremony, the three of them as well as some of Molly's other friends went back to the common room of their dorm. Once there, Molly in her words, ''was bold for the first time in her life'' and asked Steven if he had any ''cute, tall friends'' he could invite over. A phone call and 30 minutes later, Thomas shows up. Molly thought he was the most handsome man she had ever seen and they both couldn't keep their eyes off each other the rest of the night. At the end of the night, Molly walked Thomas down to the RA desk of her dorm to check Thomas out and they exchanged Snapchats. They then began talking for days on end and a week later went on their first date to Chili's and started dating that night.
