We went to the same high school, walking the same halls for years—but somehow never spoke. Looking back, it feels like we were always near each other, quietly tied together by something neither of us could see yet. A year into college, Chris followed me on social media and sent a message—and just like that, something clicked. The connection was instant, like picking up a conversation that had been waiting for us.

From the beginning, being together felt natural. We could talk for hours without even noticing the time. We bonded over our love of Star Wars, video games, and music that made us feel understood—especially the Lumineers and Gregory Alan Isakov. Somewhere between late-night texts, shared playlists, and handwritten letters, we realized: this wasn’t just love. It felt like finding home.

In the last five years, we've supported each other through college degrees, career changes, and life’s unknowns. We've cheered each other on as I earned my bachelor’s and master’s, and Chris completed his welding program and stepped confidently into his career. We've grown—together and as individuals—and we've never stopped believing in each other.

We've also filled our time with laughter and adventure: camping in the mountains, road trips to the beach, and days spent walking hand-in-hand through Universal Orlando. But some of our favorite moments have been the small, quiet ones—where our sense of humor only makes sense to us, and it’s clear we’re exactly where we’re meant to be.

Ours is a love that’s rooted in something deeper than chance. It’s a love that feels like it was always meant to be. We truly feel like we've found our person in each other—and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you by our side.
