Mitch and Molly&nbsp;had many mutual friends (unbeknowst to them&nbsp;at the time) and they first&nbsp;crossed paths&nbsp;at their friend&nbsp;Ted's&nbsp;30th&nbsp;birthday party&nbsp;croquet event in 2011. Yeah, their friend Ted is old!&nbsp;&nbsp;Though they&nbsp;were both in&nbsp;relationships at the time, Molly remembers&nbsp;feeling&nbsp;like she&nbsp;wanted to get to know that guy in the plaid shorts.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mitch, who was entirely&nbsp;focused on winning the croquet tournament that day,&nbsp;remembers the sweet taste of victory and beer.&nbsp;&nbsp;Fast forward a&nbsp;year and a half&nbsp;and Mitch, who is&nbsp;newly single, has&nbsp;moved to SF from the peninsula and joined The Wolf Pack soccer team.&nbsp;&nbsp;It was&nbsp;on the soccer pitch that Mitch first took interest in&nbsp;Molly.&nbsp; Unfortunately, her boyfriend at the time was also on the team and teammates don't do that to each other.&nbsp; That being said,&nbsp;Mitch clearly remembers thinking, "If only I could find a girl like Molly to settle down with".&nbsp; Well, the universe was listening and soon enough Molly was single but with a heavy heart.&nbsp; Over the next couple of months and weekly&nbsp;soccer and softball matches&nbsp;Mitch and Molly's bond continued to grow.&nbsp; The&nbsp;Wolf Pack team members could sense&nbsp;this&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;attraction and forbid them&nbsp;from dating.&nbsp; Relationship issues&nbsp;had already cost the pack&nbsp;one teammate and another failed&nbsp;relationship could now&nbsp;jeopardize&nbsp;two intramural sports teams. So when the team captain and manager (Robin &&nbsp;Ted)&nbsp;left to&nbsp;New Zealand for a few weeks, Mitch took the opportunity to invite Molly to the movies.&nbsp; They&nbsp;went to the movie&nbsp;Gravity at the Kabuki Theater in Pacific Heights, drank a bottle of wine, had a couple&nbsp;sips of tequila offered to them&nbsp;by&nbsp;a chance&nbsp;encounter&nbsp;and started to fall for each other.&nbsp;

How we met

Like many couples in SF, Mitch and I struggled to let go of our rent controlled apartments.&nbsp;When home-ownership is a pipe dream, San Franciscans tend to start considering their rent-control digs as an asset and shy away from letting that secure lease go. To weather this conundrum Mitch and I set out to make SWOT&nbsp;analyses of each apartment (Strengths, Weaknesses,&nbsp;Opporunities, Threats) to see whose apartment would come out on top. The Mission neighborhood on Treat Ave was quite spicy at this time and Pac Heights squeeked by with the win. Mitch was wary of not having a parking garage, while I was more worried about his neighborhood's&nbsp;Lululemon uniform.&nbsp;Since moving in together, Mitch has come to understand how I can't seem to put lids on correctly and should never "bake" while I lovingly refer to him as "the kitchen nazi" and have discovered his magic card collection.

Cohabitation and SWOT analyses

I think we both knew that our relationship&nbsp;was special when Mitch accompanied me to my cousin Bridget's wedding in March of 2014. Our relationship was relatively new, but I couldn't wait for him to meet my cousins and pass "the uncle test." Under the pressure of learning 50+ names and how they are related to me, Mitch thrived.&nbsp;He taught underage cousins the art of craps, he snuck into the pool after hours and was the first one at the bar for the Arsenal game that morning. My mom swears that on the dance floor "Mitch had a full glass of Jameson, and didn't spill a drop."&nbsp;Mitchapalooza was in his element and I was swooning.&nbsp;After that weekend, I was officially&nbsp;head-over-heels/mildly panicked about how much I liked him.

&nbsp;We first said "I love you" at my best friend Coleen's wedding later in July of that&nbsp;year. Weddings seemed to be something special for us...but maybe because we spent most free weekends attending them.&nbsp;In fact, we attended 8&nbsp;weddings in that first year of dating and it didn't slow down much in the years after. Weddings mark important&nbsp;milestones for us and have been some of our favorite memories with our loved ones. Now that we get to host our own wedding, we are hoping to have you all stay a few extra days, get to know one another, and have the time of your life.&nbsp;

Head&nbsp;northwest&nbsp;on&nbsp;Calle Marlín&nbsp;toward&nbsp;Av Revolución.&nbsp;Turn&nbsp;left&nbsp;onto&nbsp;Manuel N. Navarrete.&nbsp;Turn&nbsp;right&nbsp;onto&nbsp;Caracol.&nbsp;Continue onto&nbsp;Pescadores. Destination will be on the right after a short uphill climb.

Stay here with the bride and groom!!!! We have booked this hotel (40 rooms, capacity 80-100) for our wedding and see below for descriptions of room type and cost. They vary in size from one bedrooms to multi-room suites.&nbsp;We have the whole hotel from&nbsp;Oct 31st-Nov 3rd, three night minimum stay required.&nbsp;Hotel will honor the rate for as long as you would like to stay.&nbsp;The hotel has private jacuzzi tubs on the balconies of all of the suites, an infinity pool and a palapa bar for drinks and light bites. Each penthouse has a roof pool as well. Please specify if you would like to be in a tower with an elevator if desired as one tower is stairs-only. Renting a car is not necessary but there will be limited parking avaiable for some guests if needed. Best way to get around this little city is on foot or via golf cart. Our beautiful Garden Casita and/or guest rooms are ideally located on the beach in front of the surf break. You cannot be any closer to the main swimming and surfing beach! It is only 2 short blocks from the center of town on the south shore.&nbsp; Leaving the pool area you are on the beach which is usually full of swimmers, surfers, and boogie boarders.&nbsp; You can easily look out from your room or the pool terrace to check out the waves and action.
