Our Wedding

Mayura and Molly matched on the dating app, Hinge, on a Saturday in late July 2023. Molly thought Mayura was handsome, but was preoccupied with getting her passport set up in Denver that day. Mayura was determined to take her out that same night, but Molly said no. They settled on coffee the next morning. It was a successful first date. He was a gentleman and walked Molly to her car afterwards. Mayura's friends are very important to him and he wanted Molly to meet them on the second date. He picked hiking the "7 bridges" trail. Molly, still being new to the area, thought she arrived at the correct spot, but after talking with a nice visitor center employee found out she was 30 minutes from the trailhead, and there was no cellphone reception. Mayura and his friends patiently waited while she showed up 30 minutes late. Everyone bonded over Molly's lack of navigation skills. By the third date Mayura wanted Molly to know that he had serious intentions about dating her before he left on a one month army training session. He sent her flowers and let her borrow his car because hers was in the shop (ensuring she would not forget him!). Molly may or may not have spilled coffee all over that car during that time... Once Mayura got back from training he asked her to officially be his girlfriend and he proposed to her on her birthday July 19th 2024. Friends and family gathered for a surprise engagement party and the rest is history!
