When It All Began

In January 2022, Molly was visiting her friend Sarah in Hayward, WI for a weekend of ice fishing. Sarah asked to peruse through Molly's Hinge app to see if there were any guys who she could match with who might be able to find them some new fishing spots. Sarah stumbled onto the younger brother of an old friend from school and insisted how great of a match he would be for Molly. Little did Molly know the tall, bearded football coach who was wearing Carhartt bibs and holding a walleye in his profile picture would soon become more than just a plug for some waypoints.

The First Date

Noah took Molly on their first date shortly after matching where they went snowmobiling together on the Chippewa Flowage, making a pit stop at the Shady Nook where he bartends for a few beers. After making it official in March 2022, the two spent the next year hitting the snowmobile trails, fishing local lakes, freezing in the duck blind, cheering on Coach LeBlanc at Friday night Hurricane football games, camping at their renovated camper at Shady Nook, and getting themselves into every fixer upper project they could find.

The Engagement

On May 20th, 2023 in Fall Creek, WI Molly shot her first Wisconsin turkey with Noah by her side. After heading in to snap a few photos and celebrate her best bird yet, Noah got on one knee and asked her to spend forever together.

The In Between

Among the two years of engagement and wedding planning, many big events happened for Molly and Noah including bringing home their first puppy, a chocolate lab named Tuddy, and buying their first home in Hayward, WI. Molly received her MBA from the University of Wisconsin Parkside and Noah started his new job as the Assistant Athletic Director at the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School. Building a life together has been nothing short of incredible, and now they are ready to celebrate the next big milestone with all of you!
