A blend of rustic charm and sophistication ~ aka, semi-formal or dressy casual attire suited for a barn setting. We suggest at least one pair of comfortable, wide heeled shoes as our ceremony will take place on the lawn.
Where is the venue located?
Gables and Gardens
1637 County Road 28, Granville NY 12832
What weather should I plan for?
We will update this as the day of the wedding gets closer, however, fall weather in upstate New York can be very unpredictable! We suggest planning for warm weather with the chance for temperatures to drop as the evening goes on.
If the weather permits, the ceremony will take place outside during the warmest past of the day at 3 pm. Cocktail hour and the reception will be a mix of outside and inside the open barn.
If there is rain or too cold to enjoy the outside, the entire event can be hosted inside the barn with the side doors closed and central heat turned on.
What local accommodations are available?
Due to the holiday weekend in peak fall season, hotels in the area did not allow us to block rooms. Please visit the Travel tab of our website for more detailed information on hotels and other travel needs.
What kind of food will be served?
Cocktail hour will feature a number of hors d'oeuvres and a mashed potato bar! Dinner will be served buffet style with a variety of dietary options. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there are any dietary restrictions so we can ensure there are plenty of options for everyone!
When should I RVSP by and how?
8 - 31 - 24 is the deadline to RVSP. There is an RSVP tab on our website, or you can contact the bride and groom at dylan4molly2024@gmail.com. If you are still unsure about your ability to attend by then, please contact us separately as a maybe and let us know a decision as soon as you can!
Can I bring a plus one or my children?
We are so thankful for everyone who will be with us to celebrate our special day. Unfortunately, we have a limited number of guests allowed at the venue so we have specifically addressed each invite by name, as well as their children and guests. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
