Black-tie optional. We advise that men wear dark colored suits with ties or tuxedos. Tuxedos are optional, not required. For ladies we suggest a midi or long dress, dressy separates or a formal jumpsuit. No white or white-adjacent dresses should be worn, please.

Although we love your children they are not invited to the Mass or Reception. The only children present will be immediate family. Given the event will be in the evening and an open-bar we do not feel this is an appropriate place for children. We appreciate your understanding.

A Nuptial Mass is a Catholic Mass in which the Sacrament of Matrimony is celebrated within. All are able to attend the Mass, even if you are not Catholic. The Mass should last about an hour. It is unlikely that Boston will experience a winter storm in December with enough snow that it would cause an issue to the wedding. All of our events will occur inside. A little bit of snow would be magical. Watch the weather and bring your sweaters and winter coats. Prayers for a beautiful day!

The dinner will be served while everyone is seated (as opposed to a buffet or station style reception). You will select your entree choice when you RSVP and your seating card with your name will specify your entree choice so the waiters know what you ordered. We will have assigned tables for the dinner as is traditional with "Northern" weddings.

Yes, there is a small parking lot across the street from St. Catherine of Genoa Parish. We highly encourage carpooling and the use of ride share given tight city streets and the short distance.

Yes, parking is available at the Kimpton Marlowe for a daily fee. For those guests who will not be staying overnight, valet parking for the evening of December 13th will be complimentary. Please mention you are at the hotel for the McGreevy/Steen wedding.
