Flash forward to a few weeks later and there he was, Vinny. We can't remember who matched with who or who made the first move, but about a week later we exchanged numbers and began talking. Vinny asked Molly out and we had our first date at Cork and Kerry in Floral Park, which quickly became our favorite spot for a night out (RIP). Since it was a speakeasy and Molly hadn't been there before, we agreed to meet at Jack Duggans Pub down the street so Molly wouldn't get lost. When Molly walked through that door and we met for the first time, it was apparent how much we liked each other already. Though in the years since, we've each confessed to how incredibly nervous we both were.

But the nerves settled quickly! Neither of us entirely remember what we talked about on our first date; Vinny claims it was an endearingly awkward introduction, and Molly staunchly believes that there weren't any awkward silences or moments; that it was a perfect first date. Either way something must have gone right, because since that day there have been more dates than you can count. Whether its a fancy night out, a quiet night at home, a hike, or a trip to a lighthouse, they've all been incredible because theres nothing we like better than spending time together.
