Simple. We meet in college, fall in love, and the rest is history.


His teammate was dating my teammate, so we were bound to run into each other. That happened in the Fall of 2009. He calls it Santa Clause Bag night. I was carrying around a red and white fluffy bag. Rudy finally mustered up the confidence to talk to me after asking my friends first if I had a boyfriend. I was outside getting some fresh air in the frigid Pocono weather. He walks up to me with NO shirt on thinking his muscles would make me notice him. I thought, He will have my back if I get into a bar fight. I should keep him around.


Fast forward 15 years! We have been through so much together. Thick and thin! The past 15 years have brought so much growth in our service to each other. We have too many stories. We have made road trips across the county, attended countless weddings, and built a house with room to grow.


Through it all, we have no doubt we are meant to be together.


Our greatest joy is bringing our daughter, Shannon Stella, into the world this past December. She is the reason for us FINALLY getting married. We are thrilled she can be a part of the day as we bring her into the faith.
