Our Wedding

Molly and Jack met attending Jesuit High School in Portland, OR, and while their love story didn't officially begin until long after, all it took was one year of high school together (and Facebook messenger) to ignite a longstanding spark.

It wasn't until 6 years later (+ a couple run ins here and there during that time) that Jack and Molly started dating. The two of them reconnected at a wedding in Portland in 2017, and the rest is history.

Since then, Jack and Molly have lived together in San Francisco, Kauai, London, and New York, with many fun adventures throughout.

Welcome Dinner Transportation 

Please arrive at your RSVP'd pick-up location by 5:15pm for Welcome Dinner transportation. It is approximately a 10-minute ride to the Beach House Restaurant from each pickup location:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Grand Hyatt Kauai: Group entrance turnaround located at 1571 Poipu Rd, Koloa, HI·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Kiahuna Plantation: Main and East Entrances located at 2253 Poipu Rd. Koloa, HI~A coordinator will be onsite at each location if you have any questions.&nbsp;Buses will begin taking people back to their drop-off locations at 9:00pm. Valet parking is also available for those who would prefer to drive.

Wedding Day Transportation

Molly and Jack will be staying at the Kiahuna Plantation for the week leading up to the wedding. On the two nights surrounding the wedding, May 30 - June 1, they will be staying at the Grand Hyatt Kauai. While they would love others to join them, it is completely up to guests what accommodations are most suitable to them. There are many hotel options in Poipu, so feel free to do your own research.

The Kiahuna Plantation is a large property of condos located in the middle of Poipu, right on the water. It is also the place Molly and Jack called home for the 4 months they lived on Kauai. The Kiahuna is nothing fancy, but it has everything you need for an excellent stay on Kauai. Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai

The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa is a beautiful 5-star hotel right on the water in Poipu. This is also where the wedding ceremony, reception, and after party will all take place. We were able to get a discounted price for a room block at the hotel (<a href="https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/KAUAI/G-GROD" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hyatt Room Block Link</a>). This is a first-come-first-serve basis, so we recommend reserving your room at the Hyatt sooner rather than later. If the first block of rooms we have reserved fills up, we may be able to add more rooms depending on availability and demand. Note, for those of you that would like to stay at the Hyatt for the whole duration of your trip, the room block rate is honored from May 27th - June 4th.

Incredible boat tour along the Napali coastline where you'll visit caves, swim with turtles, boat right alongside dolphins, and of course tour the whole Napali coast which is a must see while on Kauai. Try to find a group of people to fill up one of the private charter boats and the captain will let you choose your own adventure!

Makana Charters - Tour Kauai's Napali Coast

There are two parts to this beach, located right in the heart of Poipu: Nighttime Turtle Watching: There’s a restaurant called “Brennecke’s". If you go to the beach that is directly in front of the restaurant at night, you will see a group of sleeping sea turtles. They come up on the shore every night for a safe place to sleep, but you have to go once it’s dark outside and the moon is up. Daytime Body Surfing: If you go to the other side of the park, you will find another beach, right where the road swivels. There will likely be a lot of boogie boarders here, but we recommend body surfing. It’s so much fun when the waves are gentle. As you’re body surfing you’ll be swimming among the turtles - you may even run into them at times, but they won’t hurt you.

Brennecke's Beach

A relatively easy 6-mile hike that pops you out at the most incredible view of the Napali coast (also pictured in the image on the home page of our website!). If you were to only do one hike during your time on Kauai, we would recommend this one! Stop at Koke'e Lodge for a bite to eat on your way to the hike. It's a cute little lodge that often times has live folk music and good vibes.

The very last point that you can drive on the north shore. It’s an incredible swimming hole with a coral reef that protects it from the open ocean, so you are right along the Napali coast, but in a calm pool of water.

Ke'e Beach

Super short hike that takes you down along the water on rock. It’s gorgeous and if you keep walking along the rock you will hit the actual “Queens Bath.”

Queen’s Bath

The beach hike is a beautiful hike that should only take a couple hours. You have gorgeous views of the Napali coast, mixed with incredible, luscious jungle the whole way. The falls hike is a hard, full-day hike. You walk into the beach and then you cut inland towards the falls. The falls are breathtaking because you can literally swim at the bottom of this 300ft waterfall (but fair warning - the water is ice cold).

Hanakāpīʻai Falls

Great shave ice, but you MUST get the macadamia nut ice cream with it. It goes at the bottom and it’s so good with the shave ice. They have one on the north shore and one on the south shore.

JoJo's Shave Ice

Sushi restaurant in Hanapepe with a great back patio for outdoor dining and live music. In addition to all the sushi, their mushroom tacos are delicious!

Japanese Grandma's Cafe

Best breakfast on the island! Located in Kalaheo, where a lot of locals live. Everything is good, they have healthy options, traditional breakfast, and pastries, but their pancakes are to die for!

Kalaheo Cafe & Coffee Company

Amazing hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. Perfect for lunch or a casual dinner.

Da Crack Mexican Grinds

This restaurant is one of the pricier ones but it's actually worth the cost. They have their own garden where they get all of their fresh vegetable menu items from and they have a fabulous ocean view on a cliff.

Hualani's Restaurant

They have great wine and amazing food. They’re small bite eats but you will walk out of there full. Started and run by a dad and his two daughters and they’re all so passionate about good service and good food. They do have outdoor seating which is nice, but I would ask them what night they have live music that week and sit inside for the live music.

The Tasting Room

The best Italian food on the island! It’s true! Must do. They also have zucchini noodles for a healthier option.

La Spezia

Great acai bowl at this shop in the back of the worst grocery store ever. It’s in the same parking lot as DaCrack. Walk to the very back of the grocery store and you will find the juice bar - they have great smoothies and smoothie bowls.

'Anakē's Juice Bar

Little coffee truck in town. They have great coffee, smoothies, and amazing homemade muffins made each morning by Phil’s wife.
