We met at Ole Miss—Molly was a freshman, Jonathan a junior—and we were introduced through mutual friends. What started as hanging out in friend groups quickly turned into attending date parties, tailgates, and just about every campus event together over the next four years.
Just two weeks into dating, we took a trip with those same friends to New Orleans. One day, as we were walking back from the streetcar, we passed by the Court of Two Sisters and happened to catch a wedding through the windows. We stopped on the sidewalk, quietly watching from the street. In that moment, Molly—half-joking but mostly serious—said, “We should get married here one day.” Jonathan smiled and quickly replied, “That’s okay with me.”
That small moment stuck with both of us. Over the years since, our partnership has become the most meaningful part of our lives. We’ve built a relationship rooted in love, patience, and unwavering support for one another. We’ve grown together through life’s simple moments and big milestones, finding in each other not just a partner, but a best friend.
Years later, it only feels right to return to the very place where we first imagined this future—not watching from the street this time, but surrounded by the people we love most, in the city that has been part of our story from the start.
We’re so grateful for all the love and support and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
