Our Wedding

The story of Blake &amp; Molly began like all great millennial love stories do- someone swiped right. Molly was casually swiping through Hinge, when she stumbled upon the profile of Blake. She swiped right first, and she will never let him forget it. What they consider to be their first "date" was a FaceTime, prior to them ever meeting in person, after a late night out with their respective friends. They talked for about three hours about just about everything, including a heated debate over who has the most fun family. Their first in-person date was on April 28, 2021 at Otto in Downtown Greenville, SC. Blake loves sushi, and Molly loves Sake so it seemed like a great fit. After a whirlwind few months of getting to know one another and falling in love, they moved in together in August of 2021, and were engaged June 16, 2023.

Bourbon drinking bestie of the bride. Met in nursing school, and the rest is history. Must not be left unattended together. Most likely to tell you a traumatic story and then laugh. 

Kristen McDonald

Sister of the bride. Met on Christmas Day in 1993, and have been beating each other within an inch of their lives ever since. Most likely to highjack the Apple TV and show you pictures of her cats.

Haley Powell

Met the bride in gym class in the 6th grade, have been attached at the hip ever since. They even shared lice in middle school, and now they get to share getting married in the same year. Most likely to have her feet talked about.

Christanna Stamp

Met the bride in 6th grade and their first hangout was ruined by a tornado and ended with eating macaroni and cheese in a closet. Most likely to pee literally anywhere.

Paige Johnson

Her mom was the bride's 5th grade teacher. Had a love/hate relationship until high school when they realized they were bound to be best friends. Most likely to be late to the wedding.

Mackenize Antonucci

Met in the 1st grade, and reconnected in middle school and have been close ever since. She and the bride have had many an adventure together. Most likely to drag you on a hike when hungover.

McKenize Spahr

Met the bride in 2019 when they were both new grads in nurse residency. They quickly bonded over going to get "snacks" after class, aka drinking wine together. Most likely to bring a charcuterie board to the party.

Hollie Abderhalden

Married to the Best Man, and arguably the bride's favorite thing to come from her relationship with the Groom. Most likely to plan a trip with you every time you encounter her. 

Amber Winstead

The Guys

Met the groom in high school ROTC class and immediately became best friends. Went through tons of fun phases of life together from four wheelers, to paintball to shooting guns. Is the grooms most reliable friend and brother from another mother. 

Jack Winstead

Met in the military together. Immediately hated one another due to attending rival colleges but found common ground eventually. Been to all ends of the earth with the groom and would be there for one another in the blink of an eye. 

Gerry Hassenmayer

Father of the groom... so they met at birth. Gave the groom all his energy and LOUD volume at times. Decided to give him nicknames such as Mullet head, Little Britches and Pussel Gut. Someone the groom will always look up to. 

Jeff Isley

Met the groom via their last name. Bonded over lack of brain cells and seeing who could get in more trouble at family gathers. Sporting buddy and lifelong friend.

Jake Isley

Met the groom and decided to run a business together in 2019. Figured out they worked better in small doses but knew how to bring out the best in each other. I guess you could say they are friends now... depends on the day. 

Charlie Coggins

Met the groom in elementary school. Had hundreds of sleepovers and late nights gaming with the boys. Stayed close friends through college and into their adult lives. Still texts each other on Christmas to see what Santa brought them.

Tyler Clayton

Met the groom in middle school technically but never cared for one another until it came to the lacrosse field. Bonded over sneaking out for lunch in High School, random trips to Long Island through blizzards and forever lacrosse bros. 

Ray DiStefano

Met the groom via work. Found out they both loved the act of putting their bodies through immense pain either through their military time or various workouts/races. To this day is a great mentor and friend to the groom.

We couldn't trust him to not be on his phone taking pictures during the ceremony, so we decided to stick him up front. Just kidding, kind of. All jokes aside, he's the Groom's cousin, father of two of the tiny humans, all around a great guy and mentor to the Groom.

This is the closet airport for those of you flying in. It's only about a 25 minute drive to Downtown Greenville. Charlotte Int'l is also a reasonable distance, being about an hour and a half away.

One of the reasons we decided to get married in Greenville was so all our favorite people have a reason to come see the little city we fell in love with! There are TONS of things to do, including many family friendly activities Some of our favorites: Restaurants:- Jianna: is probably hands down our most frequented restaurant. It is modern Italian cuisine and it is simply amazing, everything being made fresh in house and one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had- Cantina 76: modern mexican food and phenomenal margaritas- Gather GVL: covered outdoor food truck style gathering area with many different (and delicious) vendors. Family/pet friendly with heaters and fire pits for the cooler weather. SO much fun!- Ink n Ivy: three levels, all with different vibes and an eclectic menu- Sidewall Pizza: if you're looking for a great slice, this is your place! All fresh ingredients and inclusive for those with dietary restrictions- Lewis BBQ: where you order by the pound not the plate. Straight up delicious.- White Duck Taco Shop: funky, untraditional taco selection Bars/Night Life:- Vault and Vator: an underground speak-easy style bar (21+), amazing cocktails and great small plates.- SIP: roof top wine and whiskey bar (21+), TVs for sports and fun group games like giant jenga (try the adult caprisun)!- Between the Trees: semi-underground bar on the bottom level of the Grand Bohemian Hotel, overlooking The Falls- Up on the Roof: another rooftop with stunning views of Paris Mountain and downtown- Smileys: the bride and groom's most favorite dive bar and music venue. Be sure to tell Fitzi we sent you in!- Neat: (21+) underground bourbon bar with a cozy feel-Hoppin: pour your own beer garden with a roof top overlooking Flour Field.-YeeHaw Brewing: family friendly, great place to wacth a game on a big screen- Oak &amp; Honey: bottom level of a hotel, but the cocktails and vibe is so much fun. Things to Do: - Falls Park on Reedy River: where the bride and groom got engaged! Absolutely amazing views of downtown and a sprawling park area.- Group Therapy: basically like an adult arcade, family friendly before 5pm. They offer "ice curling", axe throwing, indoor putt putt, pool, yard games, etc.- Swamp Rabbit Trail: 23 miles long, it will take you from downtown all the way to Travelers Rest. Plenty of places to rent bikes from to check it out!-Unity Park: new to downtown, but a gorgeous sprawling park great for family adventures!-Swamp Rabbit Hockey: catch a game at the Bon Secours wellness arena, or see what other events/performers will be playing. There is consistently a decent line up of artist that come to the area.- Paris Mountain State Park: so many trails to explore! It's gorgeous, especially around this time of year!- Pretty Place: is viral on social media but boasts some of the best mountain views and the drive up the mountain is incredible. It is about an hour drive from Greenville, but worth it if you have the time. Just be sure to check on their website it's open to the public that day before driving all the way up.-Spare Time: family friendly bowling-Runway Cafe at Greenville Municipal Airport: kids playground/restaurant at our smaller airport where you watch planes come in and out. Kids love it!- Greenville Zoo: smaller zoo but great animals, the whole loop is only about a mile long so it's super easy to squeeze into your day. The bride would go once a week if she could!- The Children's Museum of the Upstate
