Three years ago, on Christmas Eve I sat attached to a dating app. As the night grew longer my patience grew shorter and a passing thought at nearly midnight flew to the forefront of my mind and would not budge.

“I should just call her. If she doesn’t answer or want to talk we might not be a fit anyway.”

She answered. And nearly three hours later around 3AM on Christmas morning my life had changed forever.

After moves, twists, turns, and miracles, exactly three years later on Christmas Eve, Molly said yes to me on my knee.
