Red Barn Acres is right down the street from two different hotels. It is also about a 10-20 minute drive from James Lake which offers rentals on AirBnb and VRBO.

The wedding will be both indoors and outdoors. The beginning of September usually still feels like summer. It is similar in temperature to New England so there may be random days of high temperatures or nice mid 70’s temperatures. The venue does provide lots of areas of shade and it will cool down at night.

There is a designated parking area at the venue for you to bring your car.

To ensure that all of our guests, including parents, are able to relax and enjoy themselves, we have made the decision to make our wedding weekend adults-only (aside from the brides nephew who is the ring bearer).

Both the ceremony and reception will both be held at Red Barn Acres.

We would like our wedding guests to wear formal attire to our big day. For those who will be joining us for the rehearsal, semi formal or dressy casual attire is preferred. (I had to look these terms up so please feel free to do the same) The ceremony will be on the grass so take note when deciding on shoes!

We would like this wedding to be a big and bright celebration. Please feel free to wear any primary colors (any red other than wine red, yellow, green, blue) but florals and basic colors are welcome as well. The Groom is wearing wine red and the Bride is wearing white.
