Molly and Andrew’s story begins with a blind date! Molly’s friend Madison, who is married to Andrew’s friend Sam, met Andrew at his family’s Fourth of July party and knew she wanted to set the two up on a date. So a few weeks later, the four of them got together at Smiley’s for mini golf. Molly and Andrew instantly felt comfortable talking and laughing together as they were surrounded by good friends. They wanted to continue the date with some ice cream because mini golf simply wasn’t enough time together. Even after Madison and Sam left, Molly and Andrew continued talking and flirting in the Andy’s parking lot and already set up another time to get together.

Over the next few months, Molly and Andrew spent lots of time going to dinner, sharing stories from college (well mostly Andrew shared his crazy stories), playing games, watching the Chiefs and Andrew’s soccer games, and spending time with family. Since both Molly and Andrew lived at the home, they both became close with each others families very quickly. Molly fell in love with Andrew’s sweet smile, infectious laugh, his thoughtfulness and kindness towards others, his passion for soccer and sports, and his playful, spontaneous nature. Andrew loved Mollys passion for helping little children, her quirkiness, and the instant comfortability being around her. He did not have to put on an act when he was around her.

In the summer of 2024, Andrew and Molly went to several friends' weddings and the topic of weddings and marriage became very common. It became clear very quickly that they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. So, on April 12th, 2025 Andrew planed a beautiful day together with brunch and ring shopping. Little did Molly know, he already had the ring. He took her down to Loose Park, where he had set up flowers and pictures of the two of the them, with both their parents hiding around the corner. In front of the beautiful pond and blooming trees, Andrew got down on one knee and asked Molly to marry him. Of course she said YES!
