We were introduced by our best friends in high school when Molly was 17 and Dan was 18. We began dating in May 2010 and have been together ever since. Dan is currently a veterinary student and Molly is a medical student at MSU. We have a retired racing greyhound who puts up with us talking about our "not for the dinner table" stories from school at the end of the day. I think it is fair to say that we are best friends and soul mates who have weathered both the best and hardest moments of our lives together.

We went to Traverse City for a weekend away from East Lansing. We went up to Old Mission Peninsula to see the lighthouse. We walked along the beach on the northern-most point of the peninsula and Dan proposed. It was the best weekend of our lives!
