In 2010 I had overheard some work associates talking about an opportunity to travel around NY and help convert some newly purchased P&C stores over to Tops stores, but at that time they knew no one that was interested as mostly everyone had kids etc. Being at the fresh age of 21, I decided to take the initiative and go for it as I was really looking to expand within the company. Waking up that early was tough, and to make things harder, the first day I got there I walked into this guy with a rockstar energy drink in his hand, talking and laughing very loudly with his friend. Needless to say, at 6 am I was not pleased. But over the course of the following weeks we started to talk, and I felt as though I could really tell him anything without reservation. He won me over, and a few months later we were living together. Slowly but surely, we were finding weird ironic things about each others lives. Before he moved to Kendall, he lived right down the street from me, was in the same grade as my sister at Arcadia, his cousin even hung out with my sisters while they were younger! There were plenty of times we could have met, but the P&C reset must have been the "right" time. He's my true other half, my best friend, and the one who I want to spend the rest of my life with. I will forever be grateful to him for showing the love and patience he does with me on a daily basis. I can't wait to be married to you Brandon <3
