Do I have to RSVP?
Yes - A RSVP is required for everyone. It is essential in planning for the ceremony seating and reception meal. To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as “attending” or “declining”. In order for us to accommodate you, please RSVP prior to the deadline of April 13, 2024. All RSVPs received after this date will be marked as declining; we will be sending a final headcount to our vendors following this deadline.
When should you book lodging?
We suggest booking as soon as you can! Lodging goes quickly, especially on a holiday weekend, near Lake George. Please see our travel page for lodging recommendations and our room block with the Best Western.
Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal (suit & tie and cocktail dresses). Please no white clothing.
Are children invited to attend?
As much as we love each and every member of your family, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
Can I bring a date or guest?
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you as our venue has limited capacity and we cannot accommodate additional guests.
What time should I arrive?
We encourage guests to arrive at 4:00pm as the ceremony will start at 4:30pm!
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside followed by the reception inside.
What should I do if I can’t attend?
We will miss you! However, we know things come up and not everyone will be able to attend. If you cannot make it to our wedding please respond “Decline” on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there will be free parking for all wedding guests located on-site!
Will there be transportation?
Yes! There will be transportation after the reception. One shuttle will be going to The Best Western and the second shuttle to the Trout House Village Resort starting at 10:45pm.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! There will be transportation provided to The Best Western & Trout House Village that we hope guests take advantage of! We suggest car pooling to the venue, as you can leave your vehicles at the venue until the next morning.
