Getting to Mendocino Woodlands Camp

Approximate driving time from airports at either Sacramento, Oakland or San Francisco: 4 hours. From Charles Schulz Airport in Santa Rosa, approximately 2 hours.

**PLEASE NOTE**

From all starting locations, you will end up on Little Lake Road. Little Lake Road pavement ends on a dirt road and the right turn towards the campground (which has a sign) is also a dirt road. Just keep following the dirt road and you will hit the campground headquarters! We promise you aren't going the wrong way! We will have signs posted to reassure those wondering "I am still going the right way?". You are!

**Google Maps will direct you to the entrance of Mendocino Woodlands Camp Association and the predicted driving time will not be accurate. It is an additional 3 miles down the road so give yourself extra time! On Saturday, we recommend leaving around 3:00pm if staying in Mendocino to ensure adequate driving time and time walking to the fire circle from the parking locations.

All types of vehicles should have no issues managing the road. Simply keep your eyes open for potholes and keep chugging along until you end up at the campground!

Bear right (you’ll see a sign for the Woodlands) and follow this gravel road out approximately another 3 miles to arrive at the camp.
