We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We have also reached our venues maximum capacity. Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed by name on your invitation, thanks for understanding!

As much as we love your children, this is an adult only celebration. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy the evening. If you are traveling and bringing your kids for the weekend please let us know in advance if you are in need of a babysitter for the night and we can help coordinate that.

RSVP will be online through our website. We will open the RSVP tab for guests in April after sending out invitations, so be on the lookout for that.

Guests are asked to arrive between 4:30-4:45pm to find enough time to find their seats and mingle. The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm.

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We ask that you dress up for the night to celebrate with us. Please refrain from wearing white, cream, or ivory as that is reserved for the bride.

Yes, there is a parking lot in front of the venue that is free and you may leave your car there overnight if needed.

We will be having an Unplugged Ceremony. Our officiant will announce shortly after the ceremony begins, that we are giving everyone one minute to take out their phones and take a couple photos on their devices before asking them to put them away again for the rest of the Ceremony. We ask everyone to put phones and cameras away until after the ceremony besides for the one minute span, so our photographer can capture the moment without any interference. After the ceremony you can take as many pictures as you'd like.

Both! The ceremony will be held outside on the golf course unless weather permits. Then, cocktail hour and the reception will be held indoors along with an outdoor patio to also enjoy.

This time of year in the Chicagoland area it is warm. You can expect it to be in the high 80s-90s.

There is a small 7 person shuttle that guests may take from the hotel. It will take 2 trips before and 2 trips after the event. Since this is such a small shuttle we suggest guest utilize Uber or Lyft. The ride for the venue to the hotel is a 12 minute drive.

Yes, we will have an open bar with a plated meal including a salad, entree, and cake along with passed appetizers at cocktail hour. (Please let us know if you have a dietary restriction and need a special entree)

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #EctonEverAfter so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

The day after the wedding is the “Fourth of July.” We invite anyone that wants to join us at Bolingbrook Country Club to hangout and enjoy fireworks. (Please visit the Fourth Of July tab for more information)
