Our Wedding

Monica and Oscar first met at Sacramento State University in 2014. Oscar caught Monica’s eye during an Intro to Mr. Rodriguez’s criminal justice class. She was too nervous to approach him, but later that week, Oscar approached her and said, “Hello, would you like to study some time.” Fortunately, Monica said yes and their journey began.&nbsp; In 2018, Monica and Oscar moved in together and began to travel.&nbsp; In 2019, they found out they were going to be parents. They were both extremely ecstatic. On September 17 2019, their beautiful princess Sophia was born. A few months later on December 21 2019, Oscar decided to get on one knee and proposed to Monica at the Union Square Ice skating rink in San Francisco, Ca.&nbsp;Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic they were unable to plan the wedding on their time frame. The pandemic was a blessing in disguise because it allowed them to purchase their new home.&nbsp; In 2021, they found out that they were expecting their second baby. On October 22, 2021, their handsome baby boy Matthew (Mateo) was born. Thus, began a family of 4.&nbsp; Finally, It was time to plan the wedding. Monica and Oscar finally decided that it was the perfect time to commit to each other and live the dream wedding they always wanted surrounded by their friends and family that have seen them grow as one. Join us for cocktails on Friday, 02/23/2024! Dress code: White Attire Time: 7pm Location: Moon Terrace   Make sure you all go have dinner before the cocktail hour or after whatever you all prefer. The cocktail hour was reserved as a welcome and a thank you all for being here and joining us in our new journey as a married couple.

We invite you to enjoy the moment, and we promise to share our pictures with you after our celebration        4:30pm to 5:30pm- Wedding Ceremony (Gazebo Deck) 5:30pm to 6:00pm- Family and Friends Photos  6:00pm to 6:50pm- Cocktail (Moon Terrace) 7:00pm to 10:00pm-Dinner and Party (Moon Terrace)

How do I arrange Transportation? Transportation: Hotel will offer complimentary round transportation through a Lomas Travel DMC partner (no private) from Cancun International Airport to Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun to Cancun International Airport with minimum 4 nights booking through the codes as per room agreement with the Resort. Number of vehicles assigned for transportation and departure times from and to the airport will be determined by the DMC according to the flight manifest to be sent by the client to the them no later than 72 hours days prior to main arrival date. All wedding guests MUST STAY at the hotel. Luckily you only have to stay for 3 days and then you can continue your vacation elsewhere if you choose. Travel

There are tons of things to do in Cancun and if you have time we would recommend trying one or two. We would recommend the following as our top 4 in no particular order: Mayan Ruins (Tulum or Chichen Itza), a cenote tour, zipline tour in jungle, or snorkeling.

Things to Do

The most important thing is to have you with us on our special day. No gifts are needed or expected. However we have been asked what we need or would like, and if you do wish to give us something a donation to our wishing well would be great, but only if you wish to participate.
