It's hard to really pin down when Monica and Matt fell in love. The pair met for the first time in Matt's dorm room as distant acquaintances in the spring of 2016. It wasn't until the spring of 2017 that the two started to become friends as they bonded over a difficult class about American public policy.

Once the class had ended, Monica went away for a summer to Spain and they both talked to each other every. single. day. Shortly after she came back to the States, they both attended their first Bonnaroo music festival where they fell in love.

After 4 summers of adventure - on a chilly October night Matt asked Monica to marry him at Arrington Vineyard near Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
