Our Story

WELCOME!We can't thank you enough for choosing to celebrate our big day with us in the Dominican Republic! Our wedding will be at the Finest Punta Cana Resort, a modern and luxury all-inclusive resort, 40 minutes northwest of the Punta Cana International Airport.The resort is all-inclusive and family friendly! All meals, snacks and drinks (including alcohol), are included and unlimited. There's 12 restaurants, 2 food trucks, bars and lounges and 24-hour room service. There's also plenty of activities for adults and kids! Spa treatments and motorized water sports (jet skis, etc.) will have an extra fee. There's also a strict dress code when dining at restaurants.&nbsp;All wedding festivities will be on the property.

Please reference the discounted group rates below and please note the rates listed are per person per night depending on the adult occupancy per room (single, double, triple).There are 2 set of rates depending on the dates you plan to travel.Below is an example of the cost of the most affordable room available at the resort traveling for 3 nights, checking in May 7 and checking out May 10. Travel

AIRPORT

When booking your flights, you should plan to fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The resort is approximately 40 minutes northwest of the airport. Search for the best flight deals on sites like Google Flights, Hopper, SkyScanner, etc but book your flight on the actual airline's website.Please book the flight that works best with your schedule. We highly encourage guests to arrive by May 7, 2025 to join in on all the wedding events. The wedding ceremony is on Thursday May 8, 2025. If you arrive before check-in time, you can use all the amenities which include pools, restaurants, activities etc. Pack a small bag with swimwear and other necessities to utilize at the resort while you wait for your room to be ready. The lobby will hold your luggage for you and keep it safe until your room is ready.

TRANSPORTATION

Private transportation to and from the airport is complimentary when you book a minimum of 3 nights with our promocode. The transportation company, Seasons Tours, is the resort’s in-house transportation company. Seasons will provide 1 complimentary transfer per room reservation. Once you’ve booked your flights, please schedule your included transfer. You must schedule your transfer with Seasons Tours at least 2 weeks before arrival. There is a direct link to schedule your transfer on the original email you received when you booked your room reservation. If you cannot locate the email you can email Seasons Tours directly. PASSPORT

You will need a valid passport to travel to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The resort will also ask for your passport when you check in for your stay.Please note that your passport needs to be valid for at least six months from your travel dates. This means your passport cannot have an expiration date prior to November 15, 2025. If your passport does expire within six months post travel, you must renew your passport. DO I HAVE TO STAY AT FINEST RESORT?

Because the resort is highly secured, those who do not have room reservations are not allowed on the premises.

WHAT DOES ALL-INCLUSIVE MEAN?

All meals, snacks and drinks (including alcohol), are included and unlimited! There are 12 restaurants, a food truck, several bars and lounges and 24-hour room service. There's also plenty of activities for adults and kids at no extra charge! ARE CHILDREN WELCOME TO THE WEDDING?

Yes! We specifically chose a family friendly resort so that everyone could join. This resort has an amazing kid section & pool. When booking your suite please note that the standard suites Finest Suites and the Finest Club Suites are kid-friendly. The Excellence Club Suites are adults only (18+). When booking your suite, you must enter the age your children will be at the time of the wedding. Everyone 13 years or older is considered an adult. The resort does verify passports and ages at the time of check in.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

Of course! Please be sure to list your 1 guest on the RSVP.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ROOMS?

There are 3 different suite levels: Suites, Finest Club suites, and Excellence Club suites.Rooms with the word “club” are suites with elevated exclusive amenities that include:-1 complimentary aqua hydrotherapy circuit treatment at the Spa-access to 2 additional club restaurants-access to the club pools and club beach areas-upgraded premium liquor in your suite-upgraded Bvlgari toiletries-plus other perks listed on their website Finest Club suites are family friendly. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY ROOM?

ASAP! There is no room block in place and rooms are expected to sell out as it gets closer to the wedding day. If you are not able to secure a room at the resort, you will not be able to attend the wedding as the resort requires all guests to stay on site.Booking now will also allow you to choose from a large range of room types. Family suites, swim up suites, and club room suites are some of the room types that sell out first. Booking with our promocode, your room reservation is 100%&nbsp;refundable up until 24 hours before your arrival and only $1 is required to reserve and secure your room now.&nbsp;

LAST DAY TO BOOK?

The last day to book with the discounted rate or make any modifications to your reservation is February 20, 2025. Any modifications after February 20, 2025 will cancel your current reservation and it will automatically be rebooked at the current resort rates, which will be much higher as the wedding date approaches.Also, make sure your card on file has not expired as your card on file will be charged ~30 days before your arrival. Your reservation will be canceled if your payment is declined due to your card on file being expired or if your bank blocks the payment if they detect it as fraud.

CAN I BOOK THE NON-REFUNDABLE OPTION?

Yes you can, but be advised that (1) you will be charged the full amount at the time of booking, (2) you will not be able to modify your reservation at all once you book and (3) you will not receive any money back if you need to cancel for any reason. We are asking all of our guests to use our promocode HKMAY25FPC and book the GROUPS RATE option because it only requires $1 deposit to book, it will include free cancellation up until 24 hours from arrival and free transportation to/from the airport. We would hate for you to lose any money if you have to cancel your stay.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?

The dress code for our wedding is beach formal. Please avoid shades of white.

WHAT IS THE RESORT DRESS CODE?

All restaurants at Finest require a certain dress code. Please visit the resort website or click <a href="https:" />HERE</a> to see the different type of dress code required at each restaurant.   In short, men must wear shirts with sleeves or collars at every restaurant. Some restaurants require pants for men. Some restaurants do not allow casual sandals for either men nor women. Please pack accordingly to be able to enjoy every restaurant on the property.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

Your outfit for the wedding (Please see above), your outfit for the welcome event, swimwear, sunscreen, bug spray, medicine, etc. Although the resort is all-inclusive, we recommend to bring $1 &amp; $5 USD bills to tip the staff you believe is doing an outstanding job. Tips are never expected but certainly appreciated.

WILL THE CEREMONY BE UNPLUGGED?

YES! We ask that you please put your devices away for the ceremony as it will be professionally captured. Please remain in the moment with us. After the ceremony please take as many pictures as you want!
