Evan and Monica actually met the first week of college in August 2017. While, Evan claims Monica was interested in him, she claims he was interested in her. The two ran in the same social circles and remained friendly for the remainder of freshman year.Sophomore year rolled around and Monica and Evan became really great friends, and once second semester hit, a little bit more than friends. A long time coming, but they decided to officially call each other boyfriend and girlfriend in January 2020.They moved in together in May 2024, and got engaged in July 2025. Now they are planning their wedding for August 2026 ... nine years after the initial meeting.
