Monica's Version:

Fast forward quite a few years, I had returned home from college and decided to go skating that night. Those who knew me back then knew if I were in town on a weekend, I was skating. I usually used the headphone tactic so no one would try to talk to me while skating. Lo and behold, Bradley did not pick up on this. He approached me and claimed that I had tripped him at the skating rink when we were younger. After accusing me of being the cause of his hip problems, he then proceeded to ask about my life and where I went to college. The next question out of his mouth was, "Why didn't you go to Auburn? I heard they have a better engineering college." Needless to say, there was not much conversation happening after that comment. When Bradley chose to text me a few days later, I pretended to not read it for a few days and then replied, "I'm sorry. Who is this?" He took the hint.

Bradley's Version:

At this point in my life I had a full time job and was working some weekends. I decided to switch up the whole work, eat, sleep, and repeat and go dust off the old skates for the weekend. There I found Monica, and she was the prettiest woman I had ever laid eyes on. I approached her with a simple, "How are you doing and what music are you listening to?" since she had her headphones in. This led to casual conversation and me asking her why she did not go to Auburn for college. I think she took it as offensive, but I meant well by it - anyone who can pay their way through college through scholarships is obviously very intelligent so I was actually curious as to how she chose her college. After our conversation, I was very interested in Monica. She is one of very few who seemed to have their priorities straight. She was interested in taking action to get where she is today and was not on Snapchat, Instagram, or Facebook and showing out to get attention. This is what really caught my eye.
