As soon as possible. Obviously villa rates go up the closer to arrival date & will be very limited for March. I recommend at least 6 months in advance. Jeep rentals usually need to be booked 4 months before!

We are a territory of the United States so it’s not needed- although if you have one I suggest bringing it. Customs appreciates the use of a passport vs. a drivers license. Also we are very close to the British Virgin Islands so if you wanted to do a quick last minute boat trip over there.. you would need it for that.
