All because two people swiped right! We met on Bumble! About a week later, my Aunt Joanie asked me to meet her in Marshall for a lunch date. When I told Tyler, he responded, “You’re coming here?” And after my lunch date with my Aunt, Tyler and I went on our first date! He was shy at first. I was so bored I almost texted Daisey to give me an out. Slowly from there, Tyler started opening up. His reason for being shy? “She’s pretty..” Fast forward, Tyler surprises me with an all inclusive trip to Mexico for my birthday in 2024! We were able to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos in Mexico! Those strange ladies in the cover photo were our best friends through the trip. They’re from Canada! On November 3rd, he treated us to couples messages and a nice dinner. At the end, I was ready to go, but he said he wanted to “sit there” and take in the moment. What did we do? Sit in silence.. I was bored and he was nervous. After sitting there for the longest 10-15 minutes of my life with zero alcohol in front of me….. he pulls out a tissue ball. Making me more confused.. Then I see the ring. His grandmothers ring. Que my ugly cry! I couldn’t tell you what he said if my life depended on it… But I have a ring and here we are!

Q + A

There are a TON of hotels, motels, and air bnb's within minutes of the venue! We will not be blocking any rooms for our out-of-town guests as everyone's budget varies. We can make suggestions, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you read the hotel's reviews. Not every hotel is safe and clean. Its Battle Creek..  If you would like a hotel in Marshall, there’s several options! 2 just north of town, one west of town, plenty of Airbnbs, and a cute bed and breakfast right in town! There’s a couple I would not recommend between Marshall and Battle Creek. There is a campground within 10 minutes down the road from our home in Marshall. 2 minutes from Mike and Lori’s house. It’s called Tri-Lakes. There are other camp grounds in the area as well! Suggestion: Stay away from the campground in Turkeyville. It’s small and dirty from what I have heard. There will also be limited space at the house for those who request in advance. Tyler and I have a 3 bedroom home and if you have air mattresses it’ll sleep more. Mike and Lori have 2 extra rooms and room for air mattresses. There are Airbnb's on the lake! The wedding parties will be staying at one of them for the weekend.
