Fall in northern WI/MN can be a bit unpredictable. It could be sunny and warm (60s) or foggy/rain and cold (40s). Please check the weather in Superior, WI 48-72 hours before the wedding to best plan your attire. Best bet, like any good Midwesterner, dress in layers!
What is the dress code?
The dress code is "Cocktail Attire". The ceremony will be outside and you will have the opportunity to ride a chairlift, so please dress accordingly.
Are children invited?
Yes! We welcome little ones at our wedding! They should be included on the invitations, so RSVP for them accordingly. Though, if you would like a parents' weekend getaway, we fully support that too! :)
Is there parking at Mont du Lac?
Yes, there is parking on-site at Mont du Lac. Please park at the base of the ski hill and there will be the option to take either a shuttle or chairlift to the top of the hill for the ceremony and reception.
What are the housing options?
If you are looking for a place to stay BOTH Friday and Saturday night, we are filling out the housing available on-site at Mont du Lac. Please fill out the POLL on your Save-the-Date to let us know what type of housing you are interested in, and we will let you know what is still available (ONLY SLOPESIDE CABINS AVAILABLE). For those looking for a place to stay nearby but not on-site, we also have a hotel block at the Radisson Hotel in Duluth, MN or we recommend the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites in Superior, WI (see Travel tab for details).
