Our story began in 2009, when we met online. Little did we know that a chance encounter would lead to a journey of 15 years together.

From our first date to our brief engagement 13 years ago, every moment has been a testament to our deep connection. Joel has a kind heart, wild and somewhat infectious sense of humor, and is great at playing Flamenco style music.

When we started dating, I was a single parent to a 12 year old girl. I was going to SJSU and working with more on my plate than I could imagine. Joel stepped right in with love, patience and dedication. Though we often didn't agree on how to handle things, I couldn't have done it alone.. She has turned out to be an incredible young woman. He became a father figure, a mentor and a friend supporting us through life's ups and downs.

Our love was put to the test in 2022, when I faced breast cancer diagnosis. Joel became my rock, and my caregiver. He stood by me through the darkest days, holding my hand or brushing my hair as it all fell out... but always lifting my spirits. His support, patience, love and encouragement helped me navigate the unimaginable. I couldn't have done it alone.

As we prepare to tie the knot, we're filled with joy, gratitude and excitement for our future together. Our wedding celebration is not just a union of two people but a celebration of our journey, our love, and our long term commitment to one another.
