Q + A

When and where is the wedding ceremony and reception?

Our ceremony will take place at The Cathedral of St. Ignatius of Loyola at 9999 N Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM. Afterward, we’ll gather for cocktails, dinner, and dancing at Ibis Golf and Country Club, located at 8225 Ibis Blvd in West Palm Beach. Cocktail hour begins at 5:00 PM, and we’ll celebrate together until midnight.

What’s the best airport to fly into?

If you want the quickest trip, fly into Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), which is about 20 minutes from both the ceremony and reception venues. It’s a small, easy-to-navigate airport, and from there, an Uber or taxi will get you directly to your hotel. Another great option is Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), about an hour away, which typically has more flight choices and sometimes better fares. From FLL, you can take an Uber, taxi, or hop on the Brightline fast train to West Palm Beach.

Do I need to rent a car?

While Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout the area, renting a car can be a smart move if you want to explore more of South Florida during your trip. You can rent directly from the airport or use a car-sharing service like Turo to book something that fits your style and budget.

What hotels do you recommend?

We’ve chosen a few hotels within a short drive of our venues, with rates in the $200–$500 USD range. These include the DoubleTree by Hilton West Palm Beach Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Palm Beach Gardens, Hampton Inn Palm Beach Gardens, Residence Inn West Palm Beach Downtown, and the Marriott Palm Beach Gardens. If we have group booking links or discount codes, we’ll share them in the Travel tab so you can reserve your room easily (limited availability). However, we suggest looking into Airbnb's since there will be more options and better pricing in our opinion.

What should I pack?

West Palm Beach is warm and sunny during our wedding month, with daytime temperatures in the mid-70s to 80s Fahrenheit (24–29°C) and comfortable evenings. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing for daytime activities, your wedding outfit (per our dress code below), swimwear for the beach or hotel pool, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. You might also want a light sweater or wrap for the evenings or for indoor spaces with strong air conditioning.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Our wedding dress code is formal.

Are kids welcome?

Children are absolutely welcome at our wedding! We love seeing little ones on the dance floor, and there are plenty of kid-friendly attractions in the area, such as the Palm Beach Zoo, Cox Science Center, and Rapids Water Park.

What can we do in West Palm Beach while we’re there?
