How would you respond when an unknown number texts you, asking if you knew how much a polar bear weighs? On a warm summer night in June 2015, Michael went to the gym with a friend after work who asked if he would want the phone number of a girl he had met in class. Little did either of us know that question would lead to the best blind date of our lives?

The night before our first date, Michael broke his arm dirt bike riding which resulted in him being over an hour late to pick me up. Because of this, he wasn't able to maneuver his stick shift and had to make arrangements to borrow his brother's car. Meanwhile I was grateful for the extra time to try and calm my nerves! Somehow I knew this one would be different. Michael may or may not have been just as nervous because he ran into a wall while parking (sorry Bryan!). Yet, none of this mattered to us and it was love at first date.

From that moment forward, we knew our lives had changed for the better. From camping trips to formal events, graduating college, a global pandemic, adopting our cat Polly, and moving in together - we have always supported each other. We cannot wait to enter into this next phase of our relationship and to have all of you celebrating with us!
