Airports

Ontario International Airport

Ontario International Airport is the closest and most convenient airport to Pomona. It's about 20 minutes away from the venue. It's a small airport with much less hassle than LAX, but prices may be a little higher.

Los Angeles International Airport

LAX is a huge International airport about an hour 30 - 2 hours away from the venue. It may be easier to get direct flights from here vs smaller airports depending on where you're coming from. Flights are also typically a little cheaper. There is a designated ride-share pickup zone that is a fair walk from the arrival gates of the airport. There are shuttles to take you there as well. Look for the <a href="https://www.flylax.com/lax-it#4257225834-2374925063" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">LAX-it Pillars.</a>

Hollywood Burbank Airport and John Wayne Airport

Burbank Airport and John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana are also each about 1 Hour 30 minutes away from the venue. These may work better or worse if you're planning on doing other things while in Southern California. These are both smaller and much more manageable airports than LAX.

Travel

The Broad is a free (you have to pay for parking) museum in Downtown Los Angeles and one of our favorites. They typically rotate more contemporary artists like Monika favorite Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein &amp; Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The Getty and Getty Villa are wonderful FREE (you have to pay for parking) museums and cultural centers. Both offering different collections and in different locations, they're both worth a visit if you aren't SoCal local.

Makomae is close to both of the hotel options and is one of our favorite sushi restaurants in SoCal! Highly recommend a visit. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try the Omakase. It's a great way to try some things you may have never had before.

One of our favorite dumpling places (Thanks Mauricio!). It's in Ontario, abiout a 20 min drive, but worth it and fairly cheap! Very casual. Give the ground pork "noddle" a try. They fixed it but it was spelled noddle for a VERY long time :)

For something a lot closer to the venue, Pho Vina is a staple. We've been coming here for years. Pretty decent pho, but my favorites are the yellow curry (get it over egg noodles!) and the Banh Mis. Really depends on if you go on a day when they have fresh bread for the Banh Mis, but if you do, it's worth it!

Probably our favorite Mexican spot in a wide radius. Simple, cheap and absolutely delicious.

Tacos Jalisco

A Pomona staple. Can't miss the gigantic rooster on the roof! Don't sleep on the butt bread!

Donahoo's Golden Chicken

Quite possibly the best chicken and waffles you have ever had. Bars on the windows, no AC and in a very questionable part of town, but family owned and worth the risk. Just be sure to lock your car.

Day Day's BBQ & Waffle House

Our favorite thrift store! We both have quite a few articles of clothing from this spot. Not as good as of late as TIk Tok has discovered it, but still a Pomona staple.

Eco Thrift Pomona

Our favorite vintage clothing store! Very close to the venue. Very reasonable prices and the owner, Albert is a sweetheart. hours are odd, so it's a 50/50 chance if they'll be open when you swing by.

La Bomba Vintage Clothing

Great antique store with a lot of amazing finds inside. It's a little ways away from the venue, but worth a stop. Might be hard to fly back with some of the finds!
