Monique and Keavin started their relationship as friends while attending UNT. Their sorority and fraternity were in a homecoming dance together. They grew close while Keavin was patiently waiting to date Monique. Keavin set the wheels in motion when he asked her to watch his puppy, Wesley, while he was out of town. Monique instantly fell in love with Wes and his goofy yet comforting attitude. Little did she know he gets it from Keavin. Fast forward and Wesley became a permanent resident at Moniques home. Keavin and Monique became study partners, dance partners on Fry Street, and eventually got the approval from each others friends and family. After 3 hard “NO’s” as she wasn’t ready at the time love prevailed and she eventually ended up asking Keavin to be her boyfriend. 6 months of patience flourished into a beautiful relationship. After graduating Monique and Keavin worked on nourishing their relationship through pre marital courses. Once the course was completed Keavin knew he wanted to be with Monique for the rest of his life. The “Yes” that has brings all of us together for our wedding was captured in Austin, TX on their 6th Year anniversary.
