Our journey began in O'neill, Nebraska where we first met. Neither one of us were looking for love, let alone in a place in our lives where we even thought we would have the ability to love and be loved. As fate would quickly show us, we were not only able to do so, but more over, deserving of a true and genuine love. Beginning in the most unlikely of places.

Which brings us to how we got here....

After nearly 2 1/2 years Josh seized the perfect opportunity to make a lifetime commitment and propose to Morgan. April 15, 2021 Morgan, Josh and Jeff (Joshes dad) drove to Omaha to attend Morgans induction into the Millard West High School Hall of Fame for being apart of the 2007 State championship winning team. As the ceremony was wrapping up and the team was taking one last picture on the field in front of the goal, Josh got down on one knee while Morgan still had her back to Josh. Typical Morgan turned around and still had not noticed Josh down on one knee (to be fair he was wearing a sweatshirt the same color as the turf!) she pulled a Forrest Gump wave saying hi to her mom who was standing next to the photographer. It wasn't until Kayla walked behind Josh to catch Morgans attention and FINALLY after she saw him, he popped the question she said YES!!!

Not a day has gone by were we haven't shared laughter and conversations that are simply pure from the heart. Completely vulnerable from day one, but it has always come so naturally and undeniably. We're peas and carrots! We've laughed together, we've cried together, and we've dreamed together. We will continue to do so for the rest of our days! Nothing in life will ever again feel so effortless and so right.
