Our Story

How Michael & Morgan came to be....

We first met in the 3rd grade when South Milford Elementary School was starting to send their students to Prairie Heights. So glad they picked our class to start that transition! Michael asked me to be his girlfriend in the 3rd grade by one of his friends. Little did I know this relationship would go so far. In elementary school and middle school we barely talked but held the title of each others boyfriend and girlfriend. Many times in cooking class mike would make me a heart shaped cookie or send me some of his leftover food. Or he would get me expired candy, because he forgot most of the time that Valentines Day was in fact a holiday. In high school we grew closer, I became basketball manager my junior year and would stay after every practice to rebound for Mike. It was always just "a few more and we can go", until my mom would call and tell me to get my butt home. Or the many times he would help me after school with my algebra homework, little did he know I knew what I was doing. I was always trying to spend time with him to show him I was cooler than basketball. Like the time I joined track my freshman year... spoiler alert I am not a runner. We would pass each other notes, and meet each other at our lockers during passing periods and even during classes, only a few times we got caught. After being his biggest fan all through high school in basketball and in general it was time to graduate. We both decided to go to Purdue where I joined Twin Pines Cooperative housing and he joined Circle Pines. Life got hard as one 18 year old finds out when going to college, and we decided to go our separate ways. But wait there's always a happy ending! After two years of both of us growing up, we finally rekindled. We talked on the phone for four hours one night, and the rest was history. We got engaged on November 25, 2023, and it was the sweetest moment. Its crazy to look back and think how far we've come, but I would never want to do it with anyone else. We both knew that we would one day make it back to each other and I am sure glad we did.

Here's to marrying your best friend & never giving up on each other!
